Amended Final Products ...

I made a few small changes to my final products in order to fill some of the white space. I think that this makes them look more professional.

Final Products ! ...

These ar the final versions of my poster and magazine front cover

Final Products ! ...

The finalised version of our movie trailer can be found here

Magazine and Poster Mock Ups ...

This is the mock up I made for my movie poster. I chose to keep it in a traditional style, with the title at the top, the image centered and the billing block and release date at the bottom.

As I am using the house style of Empire magazine, I developed the style of the magazine to my own design in this mock up.

Storyboards ...

These storyboards were drawn up by the group in preparation for our production. They gave us an indication of the end result we aimed to achieve.

Risk Assessment Forms ...

In order to rule out any potential risks that could be encountered during filming we highlighted all the problems we could possibly encounter, gave them a score of either high, medium or low, and then made suggestions as to how these could be resolved or avoided. This meant that when we began filming we were able to avoid any risks.

Venue Release Forms ...

Before filming we asked the owner of the 'Haunted House' to sign a consent form, ensuring that they understood that their house would feature in our trailer and appear online. This can be seen below;

Costumes ...

The main actress's make up was kept minimalistic and natural so that the character would appear more 'real', which would make her more identifiable to the audience.

The ghost's make up was an exaggerated white base to emphasise the character's role in the film.

The ghost character's costume is an old-fashioned style night gown which highlights the age of the ghost and reflects the period of her life.

The main character 'Sophie' had two costumes for the shoot, which were reflective of her contemporary, young female representation, as well as the location of Liverpool's fashion.

Props and Equipment ...

As a group we compiled a list of all the props we would need for the entire filming process, which meant we were prepared for filming. These were;

  • Camera
  • Tripod
  • Batteries
  • Torch
  • Doll
  • Chair
  • Mirror
  • Mug
  • Magazine

Cast ...

The character of the 'Ghost' will be played by me

This character, 'Sophie', will be played by Viki Elliott

This character, 'Sarah', will be played by Faye Lorentz

Locations ...

The locations we chose to feature in our trailer were as follows;

254A, Southport Road, Lydiate, Liverpool.

This was the haunted house.

The next location was 6, Millbank Lane, Maghull, Liverpool.

This was for the attic scenes.
